Confidentiality and Privilege

Dr. Thomas Gutheil is often quoted as saying that COnfidentiality is the Clinician's Obligation to keep a patient's information private, while PRivilege is the Patient's Right to keep information about themselves private.

Persons entitled to inspect and copy a patient's record
