Regarding individuals who have been adjudicated mentally disabled, voluntarily admitted to a psychiatric unit, determined to be a "clear and present danger" or determined developmentally / intellectually disabled

Illinois Prescription Monitoring Program
Although not a mandatory reporting requirement per se, all prescribers in Illinois are required to be registered in the system and required to check it prior to writing an initial Schedule II prescription (such as a narcotic).
